Keep credits available
Read your balance, set up auto top-up, and never let callers hear a dead line.
Your balance is two pools of credits: the monthly credits your plan grants, and any you buy on top. Both are spent by the same calls, and the only job on this page is making sure the balance never hits zero. At zero, new callers stop getting through.
Go to Settings, then Billing. Buying credits and changing top-up settings is limited to administrators.
Reading the credits card
The Credits card shows your available total, a bar splitting it into monthly and purchased, the Resets to N on DATE line for your plan's renewal, and whether auto top-up is on.
Monthly credits reset at renewal. They're replaced by your plan's allotment, not added to. Credits you buy last a year and are only touched once the monthly pool runs out.
When credits run low
- At 10% of your monthly allotment left, a Low credits banner appears and your billing admins get an email.
- At zero, new calls are answered with a spoken message that the line is temporarily unavailable. They never reach the AI Agent or your team.
A call already in progress always finishes — credits are checked when a call starts, not while it runs. If a call finishes past zero, the small overage simply comes off the next credits you get.
Act on the Low credits banner, not the Out of credits one — by the time the second appears, callers are already hearing that your line is unavailable. Auto top-up prevents the gap entirely.
Auto top-up
The Auto-top up credits card buys credits automatically when your balance runs low, using your saved payment method. Turn it on and set two numbers:
- Top up when credits drop to — the balance that triggers a purchase, for example 200.
- Add this many credits — how many to buy each time, for example 2,000.
A summary line states the trigger, the amount, and the dollar cost before you commit. While auto top-up is on, low-credit warnings are replaced by a confirmation email each time a purchase goes through.
Buying credits by hand
Click Buy credits on the credits card. Enter the amount, check the per-credit rate and total the dialog shows, and click Purchase credits. Your balance updates once the charge clears.
If payment fails
A failed or disputed payment freezes the account: calls in progress finish, new ones are refused, and buying credits is disabled until the payment method is fixed. Go to Settings, then Billing, then Manage subscription, click Open billing portal, and update the card there. Service resumes once the payment clears.
